Cameron's Gaffe

During last night's election debate, David Cameron defended the Trident nuclear weapon system, saying that we could not know what threats the future hold, and suggesting that it might be needed to defend against China. Surely quite a substantial foreign policy faux pas? Aren't we meant to be sucking up to China? Looking forward to the debate dedicated to foreign policy...
